Overpriced and doen't honor their own coupons.
We decided to try Tandoor for the first time because they had a coupon in the county's schools charity coupon book. After we ordered and got drinks the waitress notices we have the coupon on the table right before our food comes out.. and casually says they no longer accept the coupons and the only explanation is that there is a sign on the front door! The coupon expired in February 2012 and this was early December 2011! Ok.. So you get free advertisements in a charity coupon book that people donate money for in exchange for coupons, and then decide you won't honor them anymore. The sign was 3 inches high, on the window 5 feet to the right of the front door, un-noticeably stating "No Coupons"....
Anyway, that combined with poor service and overpriced merely decent food lost a repeat customer and we will pass the word to friends. However judging by the 4 whole tables occupied during the dinner rush on a Friday, Tandoor won't be around much longer for repeat customers.
Tandoor shouldn't take advantage of a charity for free advertisement.
The best!!!. By far the best restaurant in Clarksville. The food is always delicious! Please do not judge this restaurant on the buffet at lunch. Go right before the dinner rush and get great service and some of the best Indian food you have ever tasted!
STAY AWAY. My service ended with the owner calling me a F___ ing "N" word and me calling the police. But let's start from the beginning. I ordered a meal to go. They charged me before placing the order and included a 15% gratuity. I complained about the gratuity and asked for it to be removed. Later I heard the waitress ask the cook whether they made the order really hot. I took it back to the hotel, but it was way too hot to eat. I returned it but the owner refused to refund me. When I opened it to show it was not eaten he grabbed it and it spilled all over me. He then called me expletive "N" and I called 911.
