Totally Thrilled for a Change!

by Lynn Downum

About a year ago I was over Florist. I asked a friend for a recommendation and they suggested Hilldale. I hate ordering flowers sight unseen, however, since then I have needed to send three different arrangements. Two I actually saw at the hospital of two friends and I was thrilled to pieces to finally find a florist that actually knew how to arrange flowers. Having a grandmother that had a green thumb and a member of two different garden clubs as well as an award winner in many floral competitions, I am quite picky and a bit hard to please. The third one was emailed to my blackberry for me to see and needlesstosay that sold me! I'm a Hilldaler for life. Thanks Hilldale and also for hiring people that have some personality and know how to please a customer. Prom's coming up and guess who I'm calling for my grandson's prom flowers. Yep you guessed it!

Fabulous selection and great service!

by Hollyreubens

I recently ordered a corsage and it was absolutely beautiful. The person who took my order on the phone was so very helpful and suggested I should come into the shop in order to see their new "Corsage bar". WOW is all I can say. It was more than a bar, it was a veritable smorgasborg of fabulous keepsake braclets that hold the corsage instead of the old plain plastic ones. There was a wonderful selection of flowers and additions to chose from and you can be as creative as you wish. The corsage is tailormade to your wishes. So glad I called!

UNPATRIOTIC/ Taking advatage of our service members!

by onipaandrea

After receiving these awful flowers and going online to do some research I fully believe this company is taking advantage of service members and/or people who are relying on the internet for flower delivery and will have no way to actually see the flowers they BELIEVE they are ordering and intend to have sent to their family member or loved one. My husband was deployed for my birthday last week and sent me flowers from this company. We both detest the color purple and someone showed up with a hideous, half dead arrangement, most suitable for a funeral, that included various different shades of purple. I immediately knew that it was impossible that these flowers came from any picture that he selected. One of the flowers in the "arrangement" was an orchid, one of which was missing petals. Many other flowers were wilting. The best part of it all was the RED (brownish red) bow....I think it really brought it all together.... I immediately threw it in the trash. I called a coworker to come up and tell me what she thought Her first words were, "Who died?" I really couldn't even look at the flowers. I was going to let it go but I got so angry thinking of how my husband spent his money trying to do something nice for me that I called the shop. I got a young sounding girl who offered feeble attempts to pacify me, such as, several hours later having someone come to my work and pick them up, let them review the flowers and talk with the "design specialist" and see what they could do..." etc. By sheer chance, I drove by the shop a few days ago and it looked disgusting. I would never stop in there if I saw it just driving by and they certainly don't produce anything like the pictures they post on the internet. They should be put out of business. They certainly have no problem with taking the hard earned money of a soldier trying to send his wife some flowers on her birthday to cheer her up.

Bate and Switch!

by kcharris2000

BUYER BEWARE of HILLDALE FLORISTS in Clarksville, TN. I purchased an arrangement on line via their website. Arrangement not only was missing flowers but it was about half the flowers from the photo they posted on their website. Also they charged my credit card twice which they said they would fix but NO Refund or Credit for the crappy arrangement! Oh and they delivered them a day earlier than I scheduled so they had to sit in a smoky, dark environment for over 24 hours before the person got them!

The Worst Florist Ever!

by lbgirl45

They delivered half dead flowers to my mother for her Birthday! And when the flowers were returned they refused to admit they were not fresh! I had to purchase and have these sent without seeing these as I live out of town. I paid $98 for this thrash. So be aware of what you order as of yet I have not received a credit or my Mom has not received fresh flowers. Ant the Manager was resting. Buyer Beware!
