decent place to dine out
by Sarafina86
I always have a decent meal here, I would choose longhorn over any chain down here. They have great cocktails and a good menu, and also great staff
- Pros: good food for chain restaurant
- Cons: busy on weekends
National chain rustles up rib eyes, T-bones and fillets in a kid-friendly, Lone Star-inspired setting.

In Short
One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.
